Rachel (Hye Jung) Kim

Rachel (Hye Jung) Kim is a Toronto-based pianist and arts administrator. As Executive Director of SoundBridge Society, she oversees organizational strategy, community partnerships, and the development of intergenerational and community-based music programs. With a background in collaborative piano and music education, she is committed to using music as a tool for connection, care, and positive social impact, supporting SoundBridge Society’s inclusive and intergenerational approach to community engagement.
Hanna Kim
Artistic Director | Violin
Hanna Kim is a Toronto-based violinist, educator, and arts leader with over 25 years of professional experience. As Artistic Director of SoundBridge Society, she shapes the organization’s artistic vision and leads the development of community-centered music programs.
She holds a doctoral degree in violin performance from Germany and has previously taught at major universities in Korea. In addition to her musical career, Hanna holds professional certifications in psychological counseling and music psychology, informing her thoughtful and compassionate approach to music-based community care.
Charles (Chang Il) Kim
Spiritual Care Provider
Charles (Chang Il) Kim is an ordained minister with the Presbyterian Church in Canada and a member of the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care (CASC). He has completed Stephen Ministry Leader Training in the United States, equipping him to offer compassionate, confidential one-to-one spiritual care. He has a particular interest in senior care and has provided spiritual and emotional support in hospital placements within the Palliative Care Unit and Long-Term Care Unit. He is a Master of Psychospiritual Studies (MPS) candidate at Knox College, University of Toronto, and is currently undertaking a Clinical Psychospiritual Education (CPE) practicum at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa.
