Building bridges through music to inspire and uplift our community.
SoundBridge Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the emotional, mental, and social well-being of seniors, children, and underserved communities through high-quality, live music performances.
We present professionally curated concerts in senior homes, hospitals, and community venues across Ontario, featuring classically trained musicians and culturally diverse repertoires. In addition to concerts, we offer interactive workshops, intergenerational music programs, and community outreach events that promote mental health, reduce isolation, and foster cultural understanding through the power of music.
All our programs are designed to be accessible and inclusive, with a strong focus on collaboration with local organizations, schools, and health institutions.
Our purpose is to:
Deliver high-quality live music to seniors, children, and underserved groups.
Support mental health and reduce social isolation through culturally sensitive music programs.
Build meaningful intergenerational connections through community engagement and artistic collaboration.
Rachel Kim and Hanna Kim, long-time musical partners, have been volunteering together for years—performing in local churches, senior residences, and organizations supporting adults with disabilities. Through these experiences, they witnessed the profound impact live music can have on those often left behind by traditional cultural programs—especially seniors and underserved individuals.
Motivated by a shared passion to bring high-quality, live music closer to the community, they founded SoundBridge Society. Their mission is twofold: to uplift and connect marginalized populations through the power of music, and to provide meaningful performance opportunities for musicians who are passionate about making a difference.
